REFUND POLICY

Talkaroo provides access to ‘Online Counseling’ using TeleHealth platform through prescreened providers such as counselors, therapists and coaches. We like to ensure that cancellations do not affect providers and hence we have a simple cancellation policy. This can be modified by individual providers, please check their cancellation and refund policy.

  • ▪ The appointments must be cancelled before 48 hours of the booked appointment for a complete refund to your account.
  • ▪ Any cancellations after 48 hours and before 24 hours a 25% will be deducted from the amount paid before the refund.
  • ▪ Any cancellations within 24 hours of the appointment time will result in forfeiture of the consultation fee.

This is just to ensure that providers don’t lose revenue as they will not be able to accomodate any new clients within a short notice period. This can be discussed with individual therapists for any future adjustments.

To protect the client the amount is transferred to providers only after 7 days of the appointment is completed. If there are any service disputes that can be raised within 7 days from the date of completed appointment.

This policy will be reviewed with inputs from clients and providers from time to time and shall be updated. Please also make sure that providers have a different cancellation or refund policy in addition to this as providers manage their own fees and schedule on Talkaroo.
